Please make note of the following changes we have made from last year’s application process:

  • We have added an “Affiliations” section to the Application Form in order to facilitate a fair and unbiased selection process. In order to better accommodate applicants, we have increased the word limit for the personal statement from 350 words to 500 words.
  • We have added a recommender form to the application process.  Please make sure that you print and give each of your recommenders the recommender form in the application packet.

    • In order to most accurately evaluate applicants’ financial need, we are now requesting the FAFSA Student Aid Report.  Please feel free to black out any personal information like social security numbers.

    We are now requesting applicants to include a resume with their application materials.

    In order to facilitate the selection process, we now request that all application materials be sent together in one packet.  We will make exceptions only for academic transcripts as we understand that some institutions do not allow students to handle these documents.  Please note that academic transcripts, if sent separately from the application, must still be postmarked by the scholarship deadline.  If individuals who are providing recommendation letters would like to protect the privacy of their recommendation letters, they may give the applicant their letters in sealed envelopes to be included with other application materials.
